Peter is a founding member, songwriter and guitarist for iconic Australian rock band Boom Crash Opera and seminal post punk outfit Serious Young Insects.

'Home' is Peters most recent project with his musical collaborators, The Home Bodies.

His work as composer, sound designer and musical director with theatre companies such as Malthouse and MTC has earned him Helpmann and Green Room Award nominations. His ongoing collaboration with Michael Kantor and his cohort has produced work such as Woyzeck and Sleeping Beauty and the feature film, The Boy Castaways where Peter worked with Megan Washington, Paul Capsis and Tim Rogers. He has co-written and produced a number of successful pop and rock records for artists including The Sharp, Rachael Kane, d rogers, Rya Park and Crying In Public Places. He was musical director for the Belvoir Company B production of The Sapphires.
