About
Led by the experienced Katherine Weaver, in this 3-hour workshop we will look at narrative structure and how we can bring that into our scene work to enthrall an audience. We will also look at how we build on each offer, when something should happen, and when we have found a satisfying ending. Whether you're a seasoned improviser or a newcomer this course will help to refine your storytelling skills through interactive exercises and useful tips.All while having fun!
NOTE: Open to anyone who has completed two terms of instruction with On The Fly, or equivalent. Not sure if that includes you? Get in touch!
BIO
Katherine Weaver is an improvisor, actor, teacher and Artistic Director of Impro Melbourne. She has performed and directed for many seasons with Impro Melbourne in such shows as Theatresports™, Gorilla Theatre™ and Maestro™. Her love of performing is only matched by her love of teaching, which she has been honoured to do in Wurzburg Germany, Wellington New Zealand, Adelaide Australia and Canberra.
