CP-Achieve Webinar Series- February
Riding the Waves of Change: From Research to Community Revolution
Unleashing the power of inclusivity by promoting beach accessibility
This webinar will discuss a groundbreaking research project that began with a comprehensive systematic review of exercise interventions for adults with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and a qualitative study focused on understanding the wants and needs of adults with CP who use wheelchairs. The findings from these studies have led to the creation of a remarkable Beach Accessibility community event.
Join us to learn how this project has initiated change and listen to those who participated in the day. We will also explore how this research-inspired day has created an appetite for change within the community and local council.
James Czencz is a physiotherapist working in rural South West Victoria, an early career researcher at Australian Catholic University and Surf Lifesaver at Port Campbell Beach.
