Freedom: Time served, moving on
This seminar will focus on the pathways to freedom for convict women and will explore the many different lives they led once emancipated. Presentations will examine the different types of freedom, the varied stories of some interesting individual convicts, female convicts turned publicans, and those who left Australia after serving their sentence - a lot more than you would think 'went home'!
The 'Jane Hadden Play' will be performed by Martine and Edward Batt.
