About
The A Cappella Academy is a training course; a place where vocal ensembles can learn the unique set of skills to become more accomplished choral singers. In this workshop, under the expert tuition of a Grammy-winning artist, you will examine and Iearn what it truly means to be a singer in an unaccompanied ensemble.After ten years in The King's Singers, countertenor Tim Wayne-Wright examines and explains what it truly means to be an ensemble singer. During the academy, Tim will cover the main issues and hurdles that every choir faces - from vowel matching to using vocal colours, all of the key elements of good ensemble singing will be explained and explored during the workshops.
Whether you're a small group of students, barbershopper or a large adult ensemble, everyone is welcome to take part in this fascinating journey through the world of a cappella singing. This will be a truly unique experience that will take your ensemble singing skills to the next level!
