Wauchope Arts is delighted to host Claire Anne Taylor and her superb (5 piece) band, as they present 'Giving it Away', the highly anticipated third studio album from the lauded Tasmanian songwriter.

With a voice described as “husky, smokey, velvet and barbed” Claire Anne Taylor has garnered a reputation for her soulful folk songs and breathtaking live shows.

Her distinctively emotive and powerful vocal ability simultaneously expresses both an inner strength and a vulnerability. The result is a tough and tender performance style that commands audience respect and appreciation.

Opening this cruisy ‘Sunday afternoons session show’ will be the band’s guitarist, Jethro Pickett, an incredible songwriter/singer.

We don’t present Sunday sessions very often, so we trust you’ll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the amazing music on offer.

Doors and café/bar open 1.30pm; music from 2pm (2 sets with a break for drinks/chat/icecreams).
