This garden is owner, Elizabeth’s passion which can be enjoyed from every angle. She refers to it as a working woman’s garden, meaning it is as low maintenance as possible. However, Elizabeth has devoted a lot of effort to the rock walls, built from paddock stone and the hedge, where she worked hard to ensure it was as thick at the top as it is at the bottom.
Enjoy exceptional hedges and full autumn colour all set amidst the magnificent setting of Mount Buffalo.
Note: Gundabooka is on Heywood Lane and is the first house on the left after turning off the Great Alpine Road. There is a sign that says Gundabooka out the front of the property.
