Kids Cushion Concert … “That’s not Half!”
The historic Mater Dei Chapel in Cobbitty plays host to South West Sydney Orchestra in a live presentation of the musical adaptation of local Camden author Belinda Hand’s book of the same name. The book, beautifully illustrated by talent local illustrator Douglas Hand explores the concepts of caring, sharing and friendship through the engaging characters of Big Bear (Craig Davidson), Little Bear (Emilia Leopardi) and the Mouse (Jessica Overton).
An engaging concert designed especially for children aged 0-8, but enjoyable for good music lovers of any age. The music has been scored by composer Jim Coyle.
Doors to the chapel will open 15 minutes prior to each performance. Young audience members are invited to bring along a teddy bear friend to share the joy, and families can choose between church pew general seating, or bringing, a picnic rug and cushions to sit on the floor. Seating is not allocated or numbered.
There is ample free car parking available. Please follow the signage.
