About

Josh Hooke brings Beethoven Op 27 Nr1 to life, and will end the program with Rachmaninov's Elegy Op 3 nr 1 and a number of preludes. The true magic will be in the middle though, with a rarely heard masterpiece by Berta Alves De Sousa displaying music in Alphabetical order (!), followed by three musical poems by the great artist Federico Mompou. the combination of well-known craftmanship from the great masters with musical poetry by De Sousa and Mompou is a guarantee that this will be an afternoon to remember!
