Botanical Dyeing Workshop with Meg (The Whispering Weaver)
About
Join us at Archive for an Autumn celebration of working with plant materials to create beautiful natural dyed garments in silk and cotton. Meg (aka Whispering Weaver) will guide you through different dyeing techniques as well as teaching you about the amazing colours that different plants can create.
While the dye is setting into the materials we will sit together for a delicious, afternoon tea.
Please let us know when booking of any dietary requirements.
You will be able to choose from different items to purchase for dyeing:
Silk Pillowcase: $35
Silk Scarf: $17
Please indicate which items you would like to dye at the time of booking, however we will have extras to purchase on the day.
Payment for these items is available via cash or card.
Be prepared to get messy! We advise wearing clothes you dont mind getting grubby or bringing an apron.
