Why is my child so intense? How do I help? What can I expect as the parent of a gifted child? Aren’t they meant to be on top of everything?
This seminar will address common social and emotional challenges that parents often face in living with their gifted and high ability children and offers suggestions and strategies for supporting their healthy growth. High interest and commonly discussed topics include asynchronous development, intensity, overexcitability, anxiety, imposter syndrome and perfectionism.
