UMSU International - Personal Finance March 14 (Sem 1, 24) (SOLD OUT)
About
For most international students, living independently in a foreign country may be difficult. Due to their lack of exposure to financial knowledge, this can result in inefficient management of money, resulting in financial difficulties. Hence, this finance workshop aims to improve financial literacy amongst international students by focusing on personal finance and investment. By inviting a professional in the field, we hope to give international students some advice on how to manage their personal finances. Also, working rights of international students will be covered in this workshop and is open to all students who wish to improve their financial literacy. Event registration will be available a week prior to the workshop through trybooking.com. This event will address the following topics: TFN, investing, banking and superannuation.Location
