About

Join Janet Steele to learn about Kwanda, also known as Kwandi quilting, a technique that travelled to India from Africa. It is a colourful way of converting tiny scraps of cotton fabric into amazing placemats and coasters. Participants need to bring a backing piece of cotton fabric 50 x 80cm. Also bring scissors, pins, darning needle, size 8 crochet thread and lots of your favourite-coloured scraps of cotton. Wadding will be provided, cost of $5.
