Hiring a temporary carer requires some serious vetting and when Helen’s partner heads off on a brief overseas trip she concedes to the arrangement by appointing the least likely candidate, Lennie, a dubious drifter and jack-of-all-trades with an incorrigible zest for life. As their disparate worlds collide an unexpected bond forms and Helen turns to Lennie to help her face her mortality.Aiden Fennessy’s insightful, moving and funny play is highly entertaining, provoking laughter and also food for thought.
