'Be their glasses, not their eyes'. This workshop explores tips and tricks to being an independence 'coach', rather than 'doing for' the child. The way adults help (rather than do) for the child can make all the difference to the independence achieved (and can have academic benefits too!)This workshop examines the often invisible hurdles to independence so that independence 'coaches' have more known levers to use in supporting independence.
