Calling on poets and performance artists to participate in Letters From Gadigal to Gaza.The event answers the call from Ramallah based Ashtar theatre, who have asked for contributions to their global initiative Letters to Gaza. It’s part of a larger movement of cultural intifada and to amplify voices from around the world expressing solidarity with Gaza and Palestine. You are free to address a person, a place or an idea associated with Gaza in the format of spoken-word poetry or performance art. Poets/ performance artists can apply to perform on the night
AND/OR
submit a text or video work for inclusion in the Letters from Gadigal to Gaza chapbook to be produced following the event.
Please send through an EOI to markelapanegyres@gmail.com by April 15 2024. The event will be held on May 4.
