About
KYCK is a weekend conference (26–28th April) run by Katoomba Christian Convention (KCC) for teenagers. It is a great opportunity for our youth to participate in and experience being part of the wider church, meeting youth from across the state, as well as hearing excellent talks from the Bible. This year we will be looking at the how it starts in Genesis 1–3. We attend the conference together (along with other groups) at various times through the weekend and return to our accommodation in Blackheath for meals and hanging out. We are only taking those in yrs9–12 to KYCK April (yrs6–8 will have the opportunity to go in September). We are limited to a maximum of 12 people (including leaders).
Cost: $120
This includes Saturday + Sunday meals, transport and conference ticket. Subsidies are available for those families who are unable to pay the full price – lease contact Mike. We recognise that it is very close to Summit and do not want that to stop anyone from going to either.
Please ensure your child's information is registered at https://www.wpachurch.com.au/rego before completing the KYCK registration process. If you have already completed this form in 2024 (like for Summit) then you need not complete it again.
If your child is in year 6–8, please don’t register them for KYCK April. There will be an opportunity for yr6–8 teens to go to KYCK in September as indicated on the Base Camp calendar.
