Join us for an unforgettable wine tasting event featuring traditional, lo-fi, and experimental wines from Chalari Wines. Partnering with the Wine Education Centre, Old Bridge Cellars proudly present Chalari's artistry alongside a delectable Greek-inspired canapé menu by local caterers, Rossen & Cook.Starting humbly in 2017 with just a couple of tonnes of grapes and no winemaking heritage, Chalari has emerged as a pioneering force in the industry. Winemaker Alexi Christidis, rooted in strong Greek traditions, brings his heritage to life through traditional techniques and indigenous grape varieties, now calling Mt Barker in the Great Southern Wine Region home.
Experience a guided tasting with Alexi himself as you sample handcrafted wines meticulously selected from Chalari's collection. Each wine is expertly paired with six tantalizing canapé courses, infused with a Greek twist to complement the nuanced flavors of the wine.
