For the second year running, our local communities of grace across the Archdiocese of Melbourne will unite for a weekend of prayer from Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June 2024. The weekend coincides with the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).
Parishes, movements and communities are invited to host a time of prayer across the weekend, in ways familiar to their local communities.
Inspired by Mary and Elizabeth’s example and the immense gift of the Eucharist, Fiat is a time where we ponder our own ‘yes’ as individuals, as local communities of grace, and as the local Church in Melbourne.
To assist us in sharing what is happening in parishes around the Archdiocese, once your local community has decided on its time of prayer, you are asked to register via this Trybooking page. This information will be shared on https://melbournecatholic.org/fiat which also contains ideas and resources for your community.
