Wrangle your posse, saddle up & ride south of the river for your chance to experience some of the most iconic film music of all time performed live on stage. 10-piece posse ‘The Counterfeit’ perform a dynamic collection of Italian soundtracks derived from the greatest Spaghetti Western films of the 1960’s and 70’s. Featuring the vocals of Ballarat’s most wanted woman ‘Freya Josephine Hollick’, the band deliver a romantic backdrop for the perfect cinematic showdown. Interpreting themes and title tracks from films such as ‘The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, ‘A Fistful of Dollars’, ‘Django’ and ‘The Mercenary', plus an extensive tracklist of new material for those who have seen the show before, this is one gig not to be missed.The infamous John McAll will also be joining The Counterfeit to dazzle the crowd during intermission with a blazing set set of solo barrelhouse piano.
