On Friday May 5 we welcome a guest musician with a seriously literary flavour. Natalie D - Napoleon is a writer, songwriter and educator from Walyalup/Fremantle. Her poetry and creative non-fiction have appeared in Meanjin, Cordite, The Found Poetry Review, Westerly and Australian Poetry Journal and has been widely anthologised. She helped run the Voicebox poetry reading series and has won the Bruce Dawe National Poetry Prize (2018), the KSP Poetry Prize (2019) and been shortlisted for the Peter Porter Poetry Prize (2023). As a musician she has toured Australia, The US and Europe. Natalie is now on tour to support the release of her second poetry collection, If There Is a Butterfly That Drinks Tears, which is out now via Gazebo Books.
