Parenting Workshop - The Village Effect: Why Every Child Needs a CommunityFacilitated by Sr Saadia Mir Hazar. This workshop will be conducted in a conversation style format with plenty of time allocated for discussion and questions.
Objectives:
- Explore the concepts of outsourcing parenting vs supplementing parenting
- Discuss the implications of each approach on child development and family dynamics
- Delve into the proverbial concept of “it takes a village to raise a child” and the intersection of parental guidance with external influences.
- Examine the interplay between strong parental presence and the role of external mentors in raising independent and resilient children.
