3-ROUND POETRY SLAM- No props, music or costume.
- Poems must be 3 minutes.
- Must be original work.
We are continuing the pre-registration system which we started during Covid... for now. $10 to register. POETS. Please have 3 pieces ready. It's one piece per round. Please respect the strictly 3 min time limit.
PLEASE NOTE* IN ORDER TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION YOU MUST PAY THE $10 ADMIN FEE TO CONFIRM YOUR SPOT IN THE SLAM
$50 cash prize for first place and we want all poets seasoned and new to put your name in the hat. All scores are accumulated throughout the season and the poets with the top scores make it into our "off season" Grand Slam in Nov 2024 for which the grand prize will be announced beforehand.
