This year marks the 51st anniversary of World Environment Day (WED).
Held annually since 1973, World Environment Day is the United Nations' principal vehicle for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the environment. Our 2024 Bournda EEC WED Dinner features two fantastic guests, Ruzika Soldo, Head of Impact and Engagement, UNICEF Australia and Kelly Pfeiffer, Zoo Education Officer, Teaching Quality and Impact. Hear their inspiring World Environment Day message on "The Climate Future Children Want" and how technology can engage students to learn about ecosystem health and biodiversity.
The Dinner will be held at Candelo Town Hall, starting at 6pm. Your delicious buffet meal will be prepared by the Cowsnest Community Farm volunteers and all funds raised will go to supporting the much-loved Potoroo Palace Native Animal Sanctuary.
