Abigayle Carmody - Women's Storytelling Club
Saturday 29 June 2024 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM (UTC+10)
We all have a story to tell. Storytelling is one the oldest, most natural and engaging forms of human communication. Sharing stories of our lived experiences fosters empathy, builds confidence and gives shape to our lives. It is also a fun and rewarding.
In this workshop you will learn about oral storytelling, be guided through the process of capturing a memory - an event, meaningful moment, and learning how to best to tell that story.
This Women’s Storytelling workshop will provide you with the opportunity to craft, fine-tune and share a 3 to 5 minute story personal to you. You will also have the chance to practice telling your story in a supportive and engaging setting. You will leave inspired and uplifted.
As founder and director of Narrative Matters, Abigayle has facilitated numerous storytelling workshops for corporate, community and aid and development organisations. She initiated and ran Human Library events in Perth, and held facilitation workshops for a range of sectors.
