Mandoon Moitch Restoration Project - Community Planting
Join us for a community day of tree planting at Mandoon Moitch (Guildford Meadows) in Caversham
Located on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River) this remnant wetland is an area of significant environmental importance that provides viable habitat for threatened and at-risk native animal species, and plays an important role in protecting the Gnangara Water Mound. It is also home to registered cultural heritage sites of the local Noongar people.
We provide: Trees, planting equipment, facilities, guidance from the Trillion Trees team, and morning tea. Just bring a hat, gloves and sturdy shoes and a raincoat if the weather is wet!
