Homicide's Untold "LIVE SHOW" with Charlie Bezzina
After four decades in the Victorian Police Force, there isn’t much that Charlie Bezzina hasn’t seen. As a member of the Homicide Squad for 17 years, the former detective worked on cases as diverse as the Frankston Serial Killer to the death of ex-Australian cricketer David Hookes.
But in the late ‘90s and early noughties, Charlie became involved in several cases linked to crimes the like of which the streets of Melbourne had never witnessed before – the Melbourne gangland killings.
Between 1998 and 2006, Melbourne’s criminal underworld went tit-for-tat in a brutal war that left over 30 dead.
In Underbelly, Charlie will take the audience inside his and other investigations through those blood-soaked years. Following Charlie's presentation, there will be an audience Q&A.
