Official Opening: ZOONOSES
About
Join us at Hurstville Museum & Gallery for the official opening of ZOONOSES, an exhibition by Dr Nicola Hooper.Through drawing and lithography, artist Dr Nicola Hooper uses fairy-tale iconology and rhymes and associated anthropomorphism to both discuss and educate about zoonotic viruses (animal diseases that cross-over to humans). The exhibition ZOONOSES explores how we perceive certain animal hosts in the context of fear of their association to disease.
