Sydney Road Brunswick invites you to join in our historical walking tour, which will focus on the hotels of Brunswick, with stops at 5 iconic locations for a deep dive into their illustrious pasts, right up to their present day.Teaming up with the Brunswick Community History Group, and led by their local experts, attendees will take a leisurely and incredibly insightful walk within the Sydney Road Brunswick precinct, stepping back in time to step into some iconic venues.
Stops on the hotel themed tour series include:
• Duke of Edinburgh Hotel
• Retreat Hotel
• The Cornish Arms
• Phoenix Hotel (now Stay Gold)
• Sarah Sands Hotel (now The Wild Geese)
Attendees will also enjoy a Guinness tasting at The Wild Geese.
