PIANC WA invites you to a technical seminar with presentations from Svitzer Australia and Woodside Energy.
This event will explore opportunities and challenges for renewable fuels in the maritime sector, focussing on the role of ports in supporting industry’s transition journey.
We are delighted to host David Bartnik, Svitzer Australia’s Head of Innovation, who will present on Svitzer’s net zero strategy and potential implications for ports.
We are also excited to welcome Woodside Energy’s Marc Senders and Adrian MacMillan. Marc is the Project Manager for H2Perth and will provide an update on Woodside’s hydrogen and ammonia production facility proposed for the Kwinana Industrial Area. Adrian, Woodside’s New Energy Shipping & Marine Fuels Manager, will present on the future of shipping and how ports will be critical to enable low-carbon global supply chains.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A panel discussion hosted by Adam van der Beeke from Fremantle Ports.
