About

Mending your garments not only helps reduce textile waste, but can also save you money. Why replace when you can repair?

In this workshop with A Fitting Connection, you will learn some basic hand mending skills such as visible mending, darning, replacing buttons, and repairing hems and small broken seams. All materials are supplied but participants are asked to bring along a garment that needs repair.

No previous sewing skills required. Suitable for ages 13 and up. Tickets $6 and bookings required
