The Mental Health Education team would like to invite you to join an upcoming specialised training program: ‘Suicide Risk: Engaging, Understanding & Responding”. This essential training is open to all clinical staff in our service. Developed collaboratively between North Western Mental Health Training and Development Unit and the Centre for Mental Health Learning (CMHL), this training is intended to refresh understanding in suicide risk assessment and management.Please speak with your line manager about obtaining approving for study leave prior to booking your ticket.
Pre-workshop reading will be distributed at least 1 week ahead of time, please consider this in booking into the session.
Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen.
Training is expected to run from 9.30 - 4.30pm. You will receive an email prior to the training with venue information.
