THEME:

'As humans and artists, we have an innate desire to comprehend the world we live in. We have a profound thirst for knowledge and a need to discover the unseen depths of our oceans. We use technology, machines, and computers to explore places beyond our terrestrial limits and bodily capabilities. However, as land dwellers, we must always return. To some, however, the sea is purely a commodity for wealth; disregarding the ‘unseen’, they churn up the ocean with seismic blasting and seafloor dredging in search of oil, gas and food reserves driven by a chain of selfish desires, dominion over and disregard for the environment.'

We invite you to respond to the concept of The Unseen relative to the human relationship with the ocean and the environmental and cultural conflicts that occur today.
