Enjoy the entertainment and glamour of the Far North’s most prestigious event in a waterfront marquee on the Cairns Esplanade Eastern Events Lawn. At the Ladbrokes Cairns Amateurs Gala Ball, you’ll be treated to a delectable three-course meal, prepared by the award-winning Coral Coast Catering, while enjoying a premium beverage package from 6.30pm to midnight.
Be entertained by Max Jackson, winner of the 2024 Country Music Association Australia Golden Guitar Award, followed by the pièce de résistance – a spectacular fireworks display.
Guests will then dance the night away to much-loved local band, ‘No More No Less’.

Pre-dinner canapés, served cocktail style, consisting of Twice Cooked Pork Belly served on a Herb Salad with Chinese Barbeque sauce,
Prawns on Lemongrass sticks, Vietnamese Duck Salad served on Spoons, Arancini sweved wtih Saffron Aoili.
Tropical Chilled Seafood Platter served Banquet Style to the table, consisting of Oysters, Prawns, Bugs, Ceviche served in Coconut Sauce with Fresh Lemon and Cocktail Sauce
Beef Cheeks slowly cooked in a Rich Red Wine Sauce, with Potato and Spinach Galette served with Rosemary Sauce and Broccolini
Desserts served Banquette Style, consisting of Petits Fours butter-based tartlet shells filled with Apple Frangipane, Coconut and Rhubarb, Green Tea Cheesecake, Peach and Raspberry Crumble and Yuzu Curd.

As a gala event, the dress code at the 2024 Ladbrokes Cairns Amateurs Gala Ball is strictly Black Tie, with a lounge suit and tie as the minimum requirement for men. Dress standards must be adhered to by all guests or entrance may be refused.
