This National Reconciliation Week the RAP Working Group invites you to:A) An introduction of the Traditional Custodians of Yagara / Ugarapul Country, where they will explain their ancestral connection to country and who you can invite to do Welcome to Country.
B) A panel discussion led by the University of Divinity’s Professor Anne Pattel-Gray will be on the importance Cultural Protocols and Safety, Reconciliation and Christianity, boundaries, Welcome to Country/Acknowledgement of Country, smoking ceremony.
The objectives of this Reconciliation Action Plan event is to celebrate Reconciliation Week, and to connect and ‘Close the Gap’ when it comes to the ACSQ and the First Nations community, followed by refreshments.
