AD HOC THEATRE in association with the ACTORS STUDIO presents a revival of David Allen’s 1980’s award-winning play about DH LAWRENCE and his wife FRIEDA during the time they spent in Australia in the 1920’s. Very much outsiders in a country whose conventions – at the time - are mostly at odds with the Lawrence’s free-thinking outlooks, they nevertheless pursue their own tempestuous relationship with almost total disregard for how it may appear to their neighbours – resulting in a cultural clash of characters both moving and amusing.
