Onigiri (Japanese rice ball) workshop with Nami
Come and join Japanese artist Nami Osaki from Nami's Art Room for her Onigiri workshop! Nami is a Perth based artist and one of her signature art styles is Food Art. Onigiri, sometimes called Omusubi, is the most iconic food in the Japanese lunch box (Bento). You can even find many different types of Onigiri at convenience stores in Japan as a grab and go snack! Nami will show you how to make Onigiri in an easy and fun way, including how to cook steamed rice to perfection!
You will also get to learn how make Tsukemono (Japanese pickles) as a side dish to your Onigiri.
For this workshop, everyone needs to bring their own - tea towel and plate.
