About

An Italian play by Giovanni Rescigno, directed by Rino Pellone and brought to you by the Italian Theatre of WA.

The plot: Ciccillo and Elvira, married for a few months, are a wealthy couple and live in a beautiful house with Filomena, his mother-in-law. Filomena, abandoned by her musician husband since their daughter was very young, is now looking for a new love. During a trip, Filomena becomes infatuated with Luigino, a young man with high hopes of "settling down.” He pretends to be in love with her, and they get married. But, Luigino is the son of Ciccillo's previous extra-marital relationship, which is unbeknown to his wife and mother-in-law. Paradoxically, Ciccillo now finds himself having his own son as a father.
