World Premiere of the English version of “The Sunline” by Ivan Vyrypaev, translated and produced by Malevich Theatre - Dmitry Volcon and Julia Burns.Described by the New York Times as 'Europe's most promising playwright', Ivan Vyrypaev is well regarded for his work in contemporary film and theatre. His best known play “The Sunline” has been performed worldwide in Russian, Polish, French, German, Romanian and Georgian. This is the first time that it will be performed in English.
It is a tragicomedy that delves into the world of family relationships and crisis. A drama about two people who are divided by an invisible wall of misunderstanding and their failed attempts to find a way out of this problem.
