Join us for dinner (optional) and a show as we celebrate the relaunch of the Pan Afrikan Poets Cafe and its ninth anniversary.Underground legend and Hip Hop emcee, One Sixth joins forces with Afrofuturistic storyteller, poet and curator Sista Zai to co-create a totally new performance work, in the moment.
"Experimental & Unplugged #01" calls on experienced artists to let go of the stage, the microphone and costume as they improvise a one hour performance that brings the audience into dialogue. As both artists play with two or three favourite poems/raps each as the raw material of their co-creation, they also bring their dinner guests into a playful and ephemeral experience of storytelling as the art of deep/ening human connection.
