School of Biblical Theology 2024

Date: Wednesday 4th September
Time: 9:30am - 5pm
Room: Marcus Loane Hall
The Moore College School of Biblical Theology is a biennial conference where our faculty and visiting scholars present papers and engage in discussion on topics related to the discipline of Biblical Theology. The topic of this year’s conference is on how the New Testament authors use the Old Testament.
The Old Testament background to a New Testament theme or passage is often easy to overlook but is frequently the hermeneutical key for that theme or passage. Throughout the day, we will consider a number of passages, concepts and methodological questions in relation to this topic.
This conference is open to all but is particularly aimed at those who are training for or working in ministry.
