Dining Room Tales makes its long awaited first foray into South Australia, as we premiere #DRT12 with the irrepressible doctor of drums, Enrico 'Mick' Morena. Born and raised in Adelaide by Abbruzzese migrants, Morena became captivated by the drum kit as a boy. In the decades since, the heartbeat that drew him to the kit has propelled him around the country and the globe, in oscillating seven year cycles, playing with some of Australia's and the world's finest musicians. As a new cycle dawns, it's time for Enrico to set the table, put a band together, boil the pasta and reflect on the heartbeat.
Dining Room Tales invites you to the serene vistas of The Gums at McLaren Vale for a convivial lunchtime of songs, stories and delicious Italian fare. A very personal reflection on a life filled with music and adventure... have drums, will travel!
