The PB WEST Protective Behaviours Universal training meets the requirements outlined by the Protective Behaviours International alliance and is recognised by Protective Behaviours International (PBI).

In this two full day training, you will learn the skills, strategies and psychosocial framework to teach, role model and facilitate opportunities to assist in the personal safety, self-determination and self-empowerment of your client group. As a PB practitioner, you will be creating connected safer accountable communities

The PB process is how you assist your clients to access their agency, it is a way in which we can create a world that does not harm our most vulnerable.

Held over two days, this training is suitable for all people, particularly staff in community organisations, youth workers and educators, health workers, social services and government departments. if you work with vulnerable people, children or young people, then this training is for you.

This course is a prerequisite for the Advanced Practitioner level and Trainer course
