Jamsheed Wines are heading south-side to take over our wine list for a very special lunch.
Jamsheed Wines, fit for a king (they're named after one too).
Gary and Elika of Jamsheed Wines are leaving their post at their Preston urban winery to join us for our next rendition of Shuck Buddies. This time round we'll be handing over the curation of wines to them - and probably the record player too.
Jamsheed will be bringing their favourite selection of wines to be opened by the glass alongside a full bottle list with some special museum wines on offer. Cocktails will be an ode to Gary and Elika, created by The Walrus team based on their favourite drops.
The Walrus' kitchen will be taking care of the food side of things for this one, with a specially crafted set menu for $65 a head. Look forward to oysters (of course), followed by snacks like Liv's anchovy donuts and sharing items like XO artichokes and Pedro Ximinez beef short rib.
This looong lunch runs from 1pm - 4:30pm.
Come, relax and enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon - definitely not worth missing if you're a fan of great wine, food, company and shoegaze.
