ABOUT THE WORKSHOP SERIES
This workshop will facilitate the exploration of a variety of issues that can challenge a Dietitian’s professional boundaries when working with clients experiencing complex issues in contemporary practice. These issues can include eating disorders, mental health issues, working with families, and chronic multimorbidity (to name a few). Content will cover essential knowledge and practices to reduce risk of boundary violations and enhance the sustainability of attendees' work by describing practical strategies for improved self-care. The material covered in this course is essential foundational knowlege for all Dietitians wishing to advance their practice at any stage of their career. Completing this course (or similar) is a pre-requisite for attending Practice Pavestones Supervision Training for Dietitians.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING
It is a requirement of registration that attendees are able to fully commit to attending both workshop days. The sessions are not recorded for confidentiality reasons. You are respectfully asked to cancel all work commitments during the course and to delegate any 'on call' duties - just as you would when attending an 'in person' training. Coming in and out of the training to attend to work or family commitments is not permitted.
Attendees are asked to ensure they have access to a secure and stable internet connection and a private space for their workshop attendance. It is not permitted to share a room or login with another participant. A webcam is essential and attendees are asked to attend with their webcam on for the entire workshop.
Attendees are required to print a workbook for the workshop (supplied in PDF format) totalling approx 21 pages of double sided printing. You can use a write on device if you prefer.
