New Voices: Scratch Night

The Scratch Night is a showcase of local and Australia-wide writing talent! Six up-and-coming writers from around the country have each submitted an idea for a stage play, along with an opening 10-minute excerpt of their script.Each of these excerpts will be performed as live readings, and with a variety of writing styles and genres - from comedy and fantasy to adventure and murder mystery - there's sure to be something for everyone.
At the end of the evening, YOU - the audience - will get to anonymously vote on which play you'd like to see developed into a full show, and Thundering Productions will collaborate with the winning writer to stage their play in 2025!
* Please note that this performance does contain some mature themes and bad language. Not recommended for children under 16.
