Ten years ago Ocean Grove’s Andrea Robertson took a mighty leap of faith and decided to release her first independent album. Ten original songs were recorded and released on the aptly titled debut album ‘It’s About Time’, and the rest, as they say, is history.Numerous awards and accolades along with successful grant applications and plain old hard work have seen Andrea perform at (and organise) some amazing festivals and events, record a further three albums including one live album before an audience over two separate shows, share her journey with a long list of industry peers and upcoming artists, and gig regularly across Geelong and the Bellarine, Melbourne, throughout Regional Victoria and interstate.
Seasons, her newest album - no. 4 in her catalogue - was launched in March this year, and is the culmination of four individual volumes released throughout 2023, each release coinciding with the change of seasons. It’s being lauded as her best body of work to date."
