This intimate show will also serve to present new material, as the pair play songs from the debut album of Freedman’s new Americana group - The Whitlams Black Stump. Check out the 13 track long player, “Kookaburra” out now.
The Whitlams Black Stump’s recent singles, 'The Day John Sattler Broke His Jaw' and 'No Aphrodisiac (Black Stump)”, which Countrytown called 'a three-minute banjo-fied instant classic', have been staples on Australian Country radio over the past year. The album, two years in the making, was produced by multiple Golden Guitar winner Matt Fell.
