About
Kadimah and the Melbourne Klezmer School are excited to present: a series of Klezmer classes! Suitable for instrumental or vocal enthusiasts ages 12 through adult, from intermediate through professional level. Led by teachers Adam Starr and Amy Zakar Banner, participants will learn and explore in-depth the techniques, stylistic elements, and repertoire of joyful and soulful Klezmer music. The last session will be a celebratory concert/showcase/dance party.
Costs:
Whole term: $200 general admission
$180 full-time students
Single (one-off) sessions, $30 general admission or $25 full-time students.
Those wishing to join a Thursday night class must sign up by 7:30pm on the previous Wednesday night in order to partake.
