Prepare to kick off the New Year in true Scottish style at Tasmania's most electrifying Hogmanay Ceilidh! This year, we're going bigger and better, ensuring an evening filled with energetic dances, traditional music, and unforgettable merriment. (Aye, it's going to be a belter!)

🎶 The Stovies: From lively classics to 200 year-old heartfelt ballads, The Stovies deliver an unforgettable performance filled with infectionus energy and incredible 3-part harmonies.

'Wildly entertaining, brimming with talent, all heart and kilt! Being in the audience at one of their gigs is like going on a journey through the Scottish landscape with yer best mate! and maybe with a scotch in hand'

  Piping: Serenading you with the best pipes in Tasmania is the St Andrews Caledonian Pipe Band's Pipe Major, Sally-Anne Richter. An incredible talent, Sally-Anne will bring the Scottish highlands to the Launceston hills with a sound that fills your heart with joy!

💃 Ceilidh Dancing: Join the exhilarating dance floor! Our expert caller will guide you through traditional Scottish dances. No experience necessary, just bring your two left feet and a sense of humour!

 The Scotsman: The ceilidh will be led by Graeme, The Scotsman, with over 2 decades of experience teaching dancing around the world, he is campable of getting even the most uncoordinated of folks up on the dancefloor.

 Ian MacLeod Ceilidh Band: Ceilidh music will once again be provide by award winning accordionist, Iain MacLeod. A one man ceilidh band (plus drummer) who's jigs and reels will have you spinning around the dance floor with vibrant ceilidh music from his first note.

Traditional Scottish Fare: All ticketholders will enjoy a supper plate of haggis, neeps, and tatties, award-winning Scottish/Tasmanian shortbread, and a lovely nip of single malt whisky (or Irn-Bru).

🌃 Festive Atmosphere: Dress in Celtic formal attire and enjoy the warm spirit of a Scottish Hogmanay celebration right here in Launceston.
